Post Repossession Administrator (Hybrid)

Department: 35- Collections
Location: Dallas, TX

Position Summary:

The Post Repossession administrator will be involved in managing routine audit maintenance related to loan and lease customers. Responsibilities include reviewing and monitoring post repossession activities, auditing and updating system of records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders. This role serves as an administration role supporting repossession processes and department teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Process coding account maintenance on loan and lease customer files.
•Maintain the OEM employee lease portfolio and assign accounts to repossession vendors.
•Perform post-repossession duties, including fee approvals and arranging transportation to auction.
•Conduct reviews of audit reports, including holds, declines, coding, lease terminations, and repossession report audits.
•Review repossession agency key invoices for approval.
•Maintain accurate and detailed records in internal systems while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of customer files and documentation.
•Collaborate with team members, adhere to servicing procedures and guidelines, and participate in cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
•Perform other assigned duties, including vendor and customer contact via email and phone, stay informed of industry regulations, and maintain confidentiality of consumer personal information, including Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
•Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support departmental or organizational objectives.

Required Experience:
•Minimum of 2 years of professional experience required; experience in collections, vendor management, repossession, remarketing, or a related call center or administrative support role is preferred.

Education:
•High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent required.

Skills Required:
•Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, manage administrative responsibilities, prioritize workload, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
•High attention to detail and accuracy, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internal case management systems, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of FDCPA and other relevant consumer protection laws, and the ability to interpret and apply legal and regulatory guidelines to reinstatement scenarios.

• Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis

Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Qualifications Preferred:
Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.

Work Schedule: This position is currently remote with an anticipated transition to hybrid schedule, requiring in-office presence multiple days per week. The role also requires flexibility to work various shifts to meet business needs, typically between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend availability as needed. Travel requirements are estimated at 0–10%.
