Associate Director, Canada Lease Pricing

Location: Dallas, TX

Position Summary:

Responsible for cocreating the Canadian lease pricing infrastructure to support several functions within the Risk Department – including but not limited to evaluating Canadian lease market/SFS capture trends, OEM Cost, and consulting on Canadian lease profitability. This role will assist in building Canadian lease pricing strategy to market ensuring cohesiveness with OEM incentives and internal system configuration. This individual will Partner with senior management to develop strategies to grow our analytical responsibilities and enhance our production efficiency, while providing the necessary documentation for internal and external controls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish the infrastructure for deriving our rates for our Canadian lease programs.
  • Collaborate with other members of the risk team to create the framework and methodology for Canadian pricing to dealer market for the lease portfolio.
  • Work with other team members to create, update and recalibrate Canadian lease profitability framework and rate build.
  • Responsible for developing the analytical framework to compile/leverage 3rd party and internal assumptions for monthly pricing process presenting recommendations to senior management.
  • Partner with other risk team members to manage and update data as well as produce internal analysis and presentations to track key industry metrics and ad-hoc management requests.
  • Serves in a leadership or support role as a part of other company committees, task groups or project groups when necessary.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • This position involves regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
  • Provides strategic supervisory leadership, including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and managing employee relations and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications and Competencies Required

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a related Risk Management role.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a functional manager or in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical interpretation and communication skills to convey pricing impact to Canadian lease portfolio, OEM sales/cost, and industry insights, along with analytical findings to management and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated collaboration and relationship building skills to foster strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Experience providing guidance, coaching, or mentorship to team members.
  • Ability to support change-management initiatives, including model enhancements, assumption updates, and process improvements.
  • High-level critical-thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and adherence to established governance and documentation standards.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment when handling sensitive consumer or business information.
  • Adaptability and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to support analytical activities and reporting needs.
  • Working knowledge of data-visualization principles and development best practices.
  • Ability to develop Power BI solutions and assist others in applying structured analytical approaches.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, or related field.

Overtime required – required on an as needed basis.

Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.

Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Finance, or other quantitative fields is preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of Canadian auto lease pricing to market.
