Senior Digital Product Owner - Risk and Pricing Data

Department: 09- Digital
Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Position Summary: The Senior Digital Product Owner serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, translating product strategy into actionable priorities. This role owns and manages the product backlog, prioritizes user stories, facilitates sprint planning, and provides ongoing guidance to development teams to ensure successful delivery of digital solutions. As an active participant in the Agile process, the Senior Digital Product Owner drives alignment, removes roadblocks, and ensures product development efforts deliver maximum business and customer value.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business strategy, customer needs, and organizational objectives.
  • Translate product vision into actionable requirements by breaking down epics into user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and establishing sprint goals.
  • Partner with development teams throughout the Agile lifecycle to provide direction, clarify requirements, resolve issues, and support successful delivery.
  • Lead sprint reviews and product demonstrations, communicating progress and gathering feedback from business and technical stakeholders.
  • Identify and deliver data-driven solutions, automation opportunities, and strategic insights that enhance Pricing and Risk Management decision-making and business outcomes.
  • Govern data sharing and information management practices to ensure compliance, security, risk mitigation, and alignment across business and corporate functions.
  • Optimize data workflows, reporting, and analytics capabilities through modern data platforms, process improvement, and stakeholder adoption initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to refine product roadmaps, develop user-centric solutions, and support product launch and adoption strategies.
  • Utilize market research, customer insights, and data analytics to identify opportunities, recommend enhancements, and drive digital product innovation.
  • Manage operational support, prioritize issue resolution, and evaluate business process and system impacts to optimize the user experience.
  • Drive data, reporting, and automation initiatives while ensuring compliance, security, and effective information governance across business functions.
  • Additional responsibilities may be added as business needs evolve.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience driving digital transformation initiatives, enabling and optimizing digital business processes, executing strategic product roadmaps, and delivering solutions within an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.

  • Applies strong analytical and technical skills to identify root causes, resolve issues efficiently, and communicate knowledge and best practices to support continuous improvement.

  • Overtime required – required on an as needed basis.
  • Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Experience working within Agile and/or SAFe Agile frameworks

Work Schedule: This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed. Travel is required 10% of the time.
