Director Talent Acquisiiton

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead our recruitment and drive the company's talent acquisition strategy. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies, managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interview, and offer negotiations. They will collaborate with leadership to understand staffing needs, lead the recruitment team, and ensure positive candidate experience, contributing to a skilled and diverse workforce. The scope of this role includes internal and external hiring, contractor management and college recruiting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and promotion of employment branding to attract top talent.
  • Develop and document processes and policies to drive consistency and compliance.
  • Work closely with hiring managers, executive leadership, and other HR professionals to align recruitment efforts with business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with external firms including but not limited to staffing agencies, RPO partners, ATS, background screening partners, universities and other talent sources as needed.
  • Optimize recruiting operations, systems, and reporting for scale, including ATS management and data driven insights.
  • Lead and manage the talent acquisition team providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and prepare reports on recruitment activities.
  • Create a consistent excellent candidate experience across all touchpoints.
  • Stay current with employment laws, recruitment trends and hiring processes.

Required Experience:

  • 10-12 years of talent acquisition experience in a medium to high volume environment, preferably in the auto finance industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading and managing employees.
  • Extensive experience in recruitment, sourcing, and talent acquisition, including knowledge of various recruitment channels and technologies.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS systems

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. In lieu of degree, a combination of work experience and Human Resource certifications will be considered.

Skills Required:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve challenges within the recruiting process
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.

Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to the Auburn Hills, Michigan office.

Work Schedule This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and occasional weekend pending deadlines. Travel to other Stellantis offices may be required 15% of the time. This position is hybrid, in office two days per week.
