Lease Maturity Manager

Position Summary:

Lead, oversee and assist Lease Maturity employees in the performance of their job duties such as managing customer lease-end communication, billing lease-end charges, and collecting lease-end balances. Support projects and efforts to promote customer loyalty, maximize lease maturity collections, minimize compliance risks, and optimize team operational performance. Requires strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads, supports, and provides guidance to employees to foster a high-performance coaching culture and a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and sharing of best practices.
  • Manages and develops staff to achieve department objectives including determining staffing needs, setting department goals, interviewing, selecting new hires, onboarding, and evaluating performance of all direct reports.
  • Ensures staff training and works with training team to develop training materials.
  • Monitors employee performance and works with Human Resources on Corrective Action and Performance Improvement Plans.
  • Monitors and oversees policies, processes, procedures, loyalty metrics, end-of-lease collections metrics, call metrics, and other lease maturity-specific key performance indicators while supporting changes to these as needed to ensure operational effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Recommends system and process improvements and assists in developing and improving policies and procedures to support the Lease Maturity strategy.
  • Supports day-to-day efforts with project and operation teams and collaborates with other business units to improve processes.
  • Resolves customer and dealer issues related to lease maturity.
  • Oversees and performs various administrative functions such as timecard approvals and quarterly/annual performance reviews.
  • Leads department and team meetings.
  • Maintains unity among workers and resolves grievances or escalates as needed.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned, and responsibilities and activities may change.

Qualifications and Competencies Required:

  • Experience Required

    • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
    • Minimum 5 years of customer service, call center, collections, sales, financial services, or dealer experience.
  • Education Required

    • High school diploma and/or GED.
  • Skills required

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

    • Strong negotiation and de-escalation skills

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

    • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

    • Strong analytical skills

    • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate

    • Mathematical skills including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals.

    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Leadership or supervisory skills required:

    • Strong leadership, supervisory, and coaching skills
    • Recruiting, interviewing, talent selection, training skills
    • Ability to oversee and manage the daily workflow of the department
    • Ability to provide constructive and timely performance evaluation feedback
    • Ability to execute discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
  • Travel % - 10% travel required

  • Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Dallas, TX

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Experience Preferred

    • Experience working in a captive finance company and/or vehicle leasing experience
  • Education Preferred

    • Bachelor’s degree
